The Tank Vent Pressure / Vacuum Relief Valve is designed to be mounted directly to the top of the tank, or on the manlid cover.  Three connection types are available, a Flanged type, a Screwed type to fit a 3" NPT Spigot and a Weld-in type.  All versions may be fitted with connections for a guage and a ball valve.  A weatherproof Cowl is fitted as standard.  The valve is of the 2-1/2" Twinact design, well proven and in use worldwide on tank trucks.  Valve internal seals are available in Viton rubber, Fortyt (a Teflon encapsulated rubber 'O' ring for good sealing with corrosion resistance), or Kalrez.  The standard and recommended arrangement is with Fortyt seals.  The tank seal is pure Teflon.  A typical application would be the MC307 trailer.

All contact parts are fabricated from 316 quality stainless steel or tube to ASTM TP 316.  Welds are fully homogeneous to ASME design requirements.  Standard finish is a high commercial quality electropolish or machine finish.  All sealing faces are machined with serrations to BS 1560 Part 2 for efficient sealing with Teflon.
